{coyotes} SUBBAN, REIMER AMONG PLAYERS TO ELECT SALARY ARBITRATION

Montreal Canadiens defenceman P.K. Subban and Toronto Maple Leafs goalie James Reimer lead the list of players potentially heading to salary arbitration hearings.

Twenty players in total filed for arbitration before the deadline of 5pm et on Saturday.

Along with Subban, centre Lars Eller also elected arbitration with the Canadiens while defenceman Cody Franson could also be heading to arbitration with the Maple Leafs.

Calgary Flames centre Joe Colborne and Ottawa Senators centre Derek Grant are also on the list.

Players who elect salary arbitration can still sign deals ahead of their hearings, which will be held from July 20 to August 4 in Toronto.
