The St. Louis Blues will begin defense of their Stanley Cup championship against the Washington Capitals at Enterprise Center on Oct. 2, the first night of the 2019-20 NHL season.

There will be three other games that night: The Toronto Maple Leafs will host the Ottawa Senators, the Edmonton Oilers will host the Vancouver Canucks and the Vegas Golden Knights will host the San Jose Sharks in a rematch of their first-round Stanley Cup Playoff series.
