The Nashville Predators have signed forward Brad Richardson to a one-year, $1 million contract, the team announced Monday.
Richardson, a veteran of 15 NHL seasons who won a Stanley Cup with the Los Angeles Kings in 2012, scored six goals and added five assists in 59 games with the Arizona Coyotes last year.
The 35-year-old has scored at least 10 goals on five different occasions throughout his career, including a career-high 19 with Arizona in 2018-19.
Over the course of his 808-game NHL career, Richardson has played for Colorado, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Arizona. He served as an alternate captain his last three campaigns with the Coyotes.
Richardson was originally drafted in the fifth round, 163rd overall, by the Avalanche in the 2003 NHL Draft.
