Former Colorado Avalanche goaltender Jonas Johansson has been claimed off waivers by the Arizona Coyotes.

The 27-year-old from Gavle, Sweden, was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the third round (61st overall) of the 2014 National Hockey League Draft. Johansson spent two seasons with the Sabres (2019-20) before being traded to the Colorado Avalanche, where he spent two seasons (2020-21).

Johansson was later waived and signed by the Florida Panthers in 2021 before re-joining the Avalanche on a two-way deal.

In 32 career NHL games, Johansson has a record of 9-13-4 with a 3.46 GAA and a .882 save percentage.
