Jason Zucker will return to the lineup for the Coyotes against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday (8 p.m. ET; SCRIPPS, BSMW) after missing seven games with a upper-body injury.
The forward has not played since he was injured in a 2-1 win against the Anaheim Ducks on Oct. 21. He has two goals in five games this season after signing a one-year contract with Arizona on July 1.
Zucker is expected to skate on a line with center Cooley and forward Michael Carcone and replace Travis Boyd in the lineup.
"First of all, he's a vocal guy who brings the energy, that's for sure," Coyotes coach Andre Tourigny said. "The other thing he brings is speed, experience, maturity in our lineup, been there, done that. He will help us on our breakout, will help us on our speed in general and our forecheck. It's another good veteran to play with young Cooley."
