Utah Hockey Club has locked up another of their 2024 first-round picks.
The team announced that it signed centre Cole Beaudoin to an entry-level contract on Monday.
The 18-year-old was selected with the 24th overall pick of this year's draft out of the OHL's Barrie Colts. With the Colts last season, Beaudoin had 28 goals and 62 points in 27 games, adding two goals and five points in six playoff games.
He played alongside fellow Utah first-rounder Tij Iginla at the under-18 World Juniors, where he potted two goals and four points in seven games for Canada.
