A quick Google search does find several stories online about this
aircraft... Nearly all of them appear to be on some of the more
'interesting' web sites out there. Here's one that includes a
screenshot from Google Maps:
http://intellihub.com/2013/07/05/wilmington-airpark-saudi-arabian-747-ripped-in-half-sitting-on-tarmac/

Looks like most of these sites are involved in paranoid fear mongering
(seems fitting after reading the story at the link above), and they,
along with some guy from YouTube that started this story, wouldn't
know a half-scrapped aircraft if someone dumped one in their yard.
Apparently, the guy on YouTube took his conspiracy theory video about
this aircraft down once a few people told him that it is simply being
scrapped.

I just searched the Cactus Wings Google Group forum using a few
different phrases and can't find any mention of this aircraft on the
Cactus Wings group. I can't easily find any pics or registration
number information online, either.

Maybe someone else knows more about this? I suppose there may be some
details in the forums on airliners.net, but someone else will have to
find them. I've made a point of not uploading to them in years (like
many other self-respecting photographers) and outright refuse to hang
out with the kids in their forums.
