Re: [cactuswings 4153] MD83 N9420D Roswell

Pretty easy to track down using the Timeline feature in Google Earth...

The first satellite imagery where the aircraft can be seen on the ramp there is from 1/1/2015. It appears that the engines were removed within a month or so of that imagery, and then it spent around 2-3 years parked in roughly the same location - with a few imagery dates noted where it was in a hangar and only the tail is visible sticking out.

Sometime between 2/24/18 and 9/25/18, it was moved to a new parking spot where it remained as of the latest imagery, which is dated 4/2/19.

This MD83 has been reported as seen in Tainan, Taiwan on 15Jan20, having ferried Roswell-Honolulu-Tainin 16-24Dec14.

Other sources are putting this in doubt, can anyone confirm if this is correct and it has indeed left Roswell.

TIA
