San Bernardino
ZS-SNH A340-642 arrived at SBD on 28 Jan 20 as SA4224. Seen on 29 Jan 20 to the left of the terminal and the registration was checked with FR24 'on the ground'. I assume it won't be leaving.

Pretty easy to track down using the Timeline feature in Google Earth...
The first satellite imagery where the aircraft can be seen on the ramp
there is from 1/1/2015. It appears that the engines were removed within a
month or so of that imagery, and then it spent around 2-3 years parked in
roughly the same location - with a few imagery dates noted where it was in
a hangar and only the tail is visible sticking out.
Sometime between 2/24/18 and 9/25/18, it was moved to a new parking spot
where it remained as of the latest imagery, which is dated 4/2/19.

I agree that Midfield is best. An excellent flight last weekend over VCV
which cost $140 for hire and pilot for just under the hour (0.9). All
Fedex and others identified off pin sharp photos and 33 SW Max were on the
ground; all identified from air photos and the ground tour beforehand on a
quiet Sunday morning. The 7 x Qatar 789s waiting for business class fitting
out were an added bonus. Also on the ground was OE-IKB 737 in full Bolivia
de Aviacion colours; nice!
