[cactuswings 4236] REQ: Moses Lake - 4th March 2020

Good afternoon
Does anyone know the registrations of the 2 Mitsubishi MRJ's at Moses Lake on 4th March 2020.  Neither of them were parked
in readable positions, in spite of checking all the various nooks and crannies.  Thanks and stay safe everyone.

Re: [cactuswings 4233] Digest for cactus-wings@googlegroups.com - 2 updates in 1 topic

Kelly cannot do DM overflights any more. She advised us lasy November that the base had tightened
their overflying rules and would no longer accept her and most other operators.
We went Double Eagle who were great as ever.

Believe Marana (or more importantly DM) is now only possible with Double Eagle at Tucson. However also try Kelly's Aviation at Ryan or Tucson Aero at Avra Valley. Kelly and team were very helpful!

Goodyear - pretty much doable from the road IIRC.

Hi, Felipe.

Following up the notes below on CRJ N484RH, it returned today to Saltillo after its freighter conversion at DHN. So, it took more than six months for the conversion process.

{coyotes} April 27: Hasek makes 70 saves, outduels Brodeur

THIS DATE IN HISTORY: April 27

1994: Dominik Hasek wins arguably the best goaltending duel in the modern era of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Hasek outduels Martin Brodeur by making 70 saves before Dave Hannan scores 5:43 into the fourth overtime to give the Buffalo Sabres a 1-0 victory against the New Jersey Devils in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals at Memorial Auditorium.

Hasek makes 31 saves through regulation, one more than Brodeur. But the Devils outshoot the Sabres 35-20 through three overtimes and take the first four shots in the fourth extra period. However, Hannan takes a pass from Jason Dawe and lifts a backhand shot through traffic that goes past Brodeur's glove. It sends the series to a seventh game in New Jersey that's almost as good; the Devils win 2-1 to advance.

MORE MOMENTS

1971: Jean Beliveau sets the playoff record for career assists during the Montreal Canadiens' 6-1 victory against the Minnesota North Stars at the Forum in Game 5 of the Semifinals. Beliveau's assists on three of Montreal's five third-period goals give him 92, one more than the mark held by Gordie Howe. He surpasses Howe's record four years to the day after scoring twice in Game 4 of the Final, a 6-2 victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs, to break the Canadiens record for playoff points held by another NHL icon, Maurice Richard.

1992: Scotty Bowman becomes the NHL's all-time leader in playoff games coached when he's behind the bench for the Pittsburgh Penguins' 5-2 victory against the Washington Capitals in Game 5 of the Patrick Division Semifinals. It's his 191st playoff game, breaking the mark he shares with Dick Irvin. Bowman finishes his NHL career with 353 playoff games coached; Joel Quenneville and Al Arbour are the only other coaches with more than 200.

1998: The St. Louis Blues set a playoff record by scoring four power-play goals in a span of 3:07 in the third period. The Los Angeles Kings lead 3-0 in Game 3 of their Western Conference Quarterfinal series, but after Sean O'Donnell is given a five-minute major penalty at 8:34, the Blues get goals by Pascal Rheaume, Brett Hull, Pierre Turgeon and Terry Yake and win 4-3. Defenseman Chris Pronger assists on three goals in a span of 2:00.

2002: Ron Francis scores a power-play goal and goalie Kevin Weekes makes it stand up for the first playoff shutout in Carolina Hurricanes history, a 1-0 win against the Devils in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Weekes makes 16 of his 32 saves in the third period to help Carolina eliminate New Jersey from the playoffs.

2011: At age 43, Mark Recchi becomes the oldest player to score a goal in a Game 7. Recchi scores 5:33 into the Boston Bruins' deciding game against Montreal in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals at TD Garden. Recchi's goal gives Boston a 2-0 lead; the Bruins win 4-3 in overtime.

2012: Ray Whitney of the Phoenix Coyotes becomes the second-oldest player in NHL history to score an overtime goal in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The 39-year-old scores at 14:04 of OT to give the Coyotes a 4-3 win against the Nashville Predators in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals at Jobing.com Arena. It's the second playoff OT goal of his career and comes near 17 years after he scores in OT for the San Jose Sharks against the Calgary Flames on May 19, 1995. That's the longest gap between playoff overtime goals in NHL history

2016: The Anaheim Ducks lose their fourth Game 7 at home in as many years when the Nashville Predators win 2-1 at Honda Center in the deciding game of the Western Conference First Round. Colin Wilson and Paul Gaustad score, and Pekka Rinne makes 36 saves for Nashville, which is playing its first Game 7 since entering the NHL in 1998.

2019: Matt Duchene scores a power-play goal at 3:42 of the second overtime to give the Columbus Blue Jackets a 3-2 win against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Second Round. It's the seventh consecutive day in the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs that at least one game goes into overtime, the second-longest streak in postseason history behind a nine-day run from April 19-27, 2011. It's also the 13th consecutive day with at least one game decided by a one-goal margin, the longest such streak since a 13-day stretch from April 16-28, 2014.

{coyotes} April 23: Babando scores Cup-winner for Red Wings in overtime of Game 7

THIS DATE IN HISTORY: April 23

1950: Pete Babando scores at 8:31 of the second OT to give the Detroit Red Wings a 4-3 victory against the New York Rangers at Olympia Stadium in the first Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final to be decided in overtime.

Detroit's Jim McFadden ties the game 3-3 with 4:03 remaining in the second period, and each team has plenty of chances before Babando beats Rangers goalie Chuck Rayner for the Cup-winning goal. It's his second of the game after he goes scoreless through his first seven playoff games in 1950.

"I was playing with Gerry Couture and George Gee, who took the face-off," Babando tells the Hockey News years later. "Usually George had me stand behind him. But this time, he moved me to the right and told me he was going to pull it that way. I had to take one stride and get it on my backhand. I let the shot go, and it went in."

No other Game 7 in the history of the Cup Final has reached a second overtime.

MORE MOMENTS

1964: Bob Baun scores one of the most famous goals in Stanley Cup Playoff history when he beats Detroit goalie Terry Sawchuk 1:43 into overtime to give the Toronto Maple Leafs a 4-3 victory in Game 6 of the Final at Olympia Stadium. Legend has it that the Toronto defenseman scores the goal with a broken ankle, though he says in 2011 that it was actually a broken leg. Baun is injured blocking a shot by Gordie Howe midway through the third period and starts overtime in the dressing room getting treatment. A few seconds into his first shift of OT, he takes a pass from Bob Pulford and takes what he later calls a "triple-flutter blast with the follow-up" from just inside the blue line that hits the stick of Detroit defenseman Bill Gadsby and floats past Sawchuk for the series-tying win.

1985: Michel Goulet scores three goals and Dale Hunter gets the winner at 18:36 of overtime to give the Quebec Nordiques a 7-6 win against the Montreal Canadiens in Game 3 of the Adams Division Final at the Colisee. Goulet scores once in each period, then gets the primary assist on Hunter's game-winner.

1992: Scotty Bowman becomes the NHL's all-time leader in playoff coaching victories when the Pittsburgh Penguins defeat the Washington Capitals 6-4 in Game 3 of the Patrick Division Semifinals at the Civic Arena. It's Bowman's 115th postseason victory, moving him past Al Arbour. Mario Lemieux powers the Penguins with three goals and three assists. He also ties a playoff single-period playoff record with four points, scoring twice and setting up goals by Joe Mullen and Jaromir Jagr in the second.

1994: Tony Amonte scores four goals for the Chicago Blackhawks in a 5-4 victory against the visiting Maple Leafs in Game 3 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. Amonte becomes the second player in Blackhawks history to score four goals in a playoff game, matching Denis Savard, who scores four in a 6-4 loss to Toronto at Chicago Stadium on April 10, 1986.

1997: Wayne Gretzky sets an NHL record with his ninth playoff hat trick when he scores three goals in a span of 6:23 during the second period, powering the New York Rangers to a 3-2 victory against the Florida Panthers at Madison Square Garden in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Gretzky ties the game 1-1 by scoring a power-play goal at 3:07 and puts the Rangers ahead 2-1 when he beats John Vanbiesbrouck with a slap shot at 6:46, finishing off a 2-on-1 break. His third goal, which proves to be the game-winner, comes when he takes a low slap shot that goes through a screen and past Vanbiesbrouck at 9:30.

7 Mar 1997: Center Wayne Gretzky of the New York Rangers stands behind the net during a game against the Los Angeles Kings at the Great Western Forum in Inglewood, California. The Rangers won the game 6-2. Mandatory Credit: Elsa Hasch /Allsport

On the same night, Lemieux scores on a breakaway against the Philadelphia Flyers in his last home game before beginning cancer treatment. The Penguins win Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals 4-1 at the Civic Arena but lose the series in five games.

1998: The Canadiens win their NHL-record 14th consecutive playoff overtime game by defeating the Penguins 3-2 at the Civic Arena in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Benoit Brunet scores the winning goal at 18:43 of OT.

On the same night, Geoff Courtnall sets a St. Louis Blues scoring record with six points (one goal, five assists) in an 8-3 victory against the visiting Los Angeles Kings in the opener of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

2002: Brent Johnson of the Blues becomes the first goalie in NHL history to earn a shutout in each of his first three career playoff victories. Johnson makes 27 saves in a 1-0 victory against the Blackhawks at United Center in Game 4 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. Pavol Demitra scores the only goal of the game at 18:43 of the second period.

2012: The Phoenix Coyotes clinch their first playoff series victory since moving to Arizona in 1996 by defeating the Blackhawks 4-0 at United Center in Game 6 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. Mike Smith makes 39 saves to give the Coyotes/Winnipeg Jets franchise its first series win since 1987, when the Jets defeat the Calgary Flames in the Smythe Division Semifinals. Game 6 is the only one in the series not decided in overtime.

2018: The Washington Capitals become the first team in NHL history to win a best-of-7 playoff series after losing the first two games in overtime at home when they defeat the Columbus Blue Jackets 6-3 at Nationwide Arena in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference First Round. Alex Ovechkin scores two goals for the Capitals, who ride the momentum from their first-round comeback all the way to the Stanley Cup.

2019: Barclay Goodrow scores at 18:19 of overtime to give the San Jose Sharks a 5-4 victory against the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 7 of the Western Conference First Round. The Sharks trail 3-0 before scoring four goals during a five-minute power play in the third period. Jonathan Marchessault of the Golden Knights ties the game 4-4 by scoring in the final minute of regulation, but Goodrow's goal gives the Sharks the victory and their first comeback from a 3-1 series deficit in the playoffs since entering the NHL in 1991.

{coyotes} Arizona Coyotes season snapshot memorable moments

Lucky fan

The Arizona Coyotes gave Leighton Accardo the all-star treatment Nov. 16, and she in turn gave them some good luck.

The 8-year-old Coyotes fan, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 malignant germ cell tumors last May, gave the players a pep talk then let them rub her head for luck before a 3-0 win against the Calgary Flames on Hockey Fights Cancer night at Gila River Arena.

Keller to the rescue

Clayton Keller found the best way to cheer up Caid Giles in January.

After Giles missed out on a Keller game-used stick, the Coyotes forward invited the 8-year-old fan to a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, when he and his family sat next to the glass before meeting up with Keller after the game.

Scorpion style

Antti Raanta's save on Brandon Saad did more than rob the Chicago Blackhawks forward of a goal.

The Coyotes goalie's eye-popping scorpion stop was one of the best saves of the season and denied Saad a hat trick in the third period of their game Feb. 1.

{coyotes} Arizona Coyotes season snapshot awards

The Arizona Coyotes began the season believing they would qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2011-12. A trade with the New Jersey Devils on Dec. 16 for forward Taylor Hall, who was voted winner of the Hart Trophy as NHL MVP in 2018, added to that belief before injuries and inconsistent play caught up with them, leaving Arizona four points behind the Nashville Predators and Vancouver Canucks for the second wild card from the Western Conference.

But there have been some strong performances for the Coyotes while they've tried to end their seven-season postseason drought.

To showcase those performances, here are the top players in various categories:

MVP

Darcy Kuemper's value to the Coyotes became clearer after he sustained a lower-body injury Dec. 19 and missed 28 games. Before he was injured, Kuemper was 15-8-2 and ranked second in the NHL among goalies who had played at least 20 games with a 2.17 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage, behind Ben Bishop of the Dallas Stars, who had a 2.07 GAA and a .933 save percentage. Without Kuemper, Arizona was 11-13-4 and dropped from first place in the Pacific Division to fifth.

Rookie

Barrett Hayton, the No. 5 pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, has been limited to 20 NHL games this season because of injury and his time playing at the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship. The 19-year-old forward has four points (one goal, three assists) for Arizona but demonstrated his potential at the WJC, when as Canada captain he had 12 points (six goals, six assists) in seven games, including a goal in a 4-3 win against Russia in the championship game while playing through an upper-body injury.

Defenseman

Alex Goligoski took on more responsibility when Niklas Hjalmarsson missed three months with a fractured fibula and is first among Coyotes defensemen with 32 points (four goals, 28 assist) in 70 games, including 11 on the power play. He leads Arizona with an average of 23:03 of ice time per game, including 2:22 per game on the penalty kill (second among Arizona defensemen behind Hjalmarsson's 2:40). Goligoski is first on the Coyotes with a plus-8 rating and 134 blocked shots.

Defensive forward

Fourth-line center Brad Richardson has been a valuable contributor defensively for the Coyotes, who are tied with the Columbus Blue Jackets for third in the NHL allowing 2.61 goals per game and are fifth on the penalty kill at 82.7 percent. Richardson is first on the Coyotes in winning 52.0 percent of his defensive-zone face-offs and leads Arizona forwards with an average of 2:34 of shorthanded ice time per game. He has 44 blocked shots, second among Coyotes forwards behind Derek Stepan's 54 despite playing 11 fewer games because of injury.

Comeback player

Antti Raanta has been solid this season after recovering from knee surgery that caused him to miss the final 59 games of last season. In 33 games, Raanta is 15-14-3 with a 2.63 GAA, a .921 save percentage (tied for eighth in NHL) and two shutouts; he missed time with a lower-body injury while Kuemper was out.

{coyotes} Arizona Coyotes season snapshot

Arizona Coyotes

Record: 33-29-8, 74 points

Playoff position: Four points behind Vancouver Canucks and Nashville Predators for second wild card into Stanley Cup Playoffs from Western Conference

The Coyotes appeared ready to emerge as a Stanley Cup favorite in the Western Conference when they acquired forward Taylor Hall, who was voted winner of the Hart Trophy as NHL MVP in 2018, in a trade from the New Jersey Devils on Dec. 16. Arizona defeated the San Jose Sharks 3-2 the following day to move into first place in the Pacific Division with a record of 20-12-4.

But everything changed Dec. 19, when goalie Darcy Kuemper sustained a lower-body injury in an 8-5 loss to the Minnesota Wild. At that point, Kuemper was 15-8-2 with a 2.17 goals-against average, a .929 save percentage and two shutouts, and was among the leading contenders to win the Vezina Trophy as top goalie in the NHL.

More Coyotes season snapshot coverage: Awards | Fantasy honors | Memorable moments

With backup Antti Raanta also in and out of the lineup because of a lower-body injury, the Coyotes went 11-13-4 during Kuemper's absence and were 2-3-0 since he returned Feb. 25, leaving them four points behind the Predators and Canucks for the second Western wild card and in danger of failing to qualify for the postseason for an eighth straight season.

Arizona's 2.79 goals-against average while Kuemper was out -- up from 2.49 before he was injured -- was fifth in the NHL. But the increase of 0.30 goals per game was significant because the Coyotes were 25th in the NHL in scoring (2.71 goals per game) during that stretch (compared to 2.70 before his injury).

Hall leads the Coyotes with 27 points (10 goals, 17 assists) in 35 games since the trade. Arizona has not been getting enough production from the rest of its lineup; forwards Nick Schmaltz (22 points), Conor Garland (22) and Clayton Keller (21) are the only other forwards with as many as 20 points since Hall arrived.

Forward Phil Kessel, who was acquired in a trade from the Pittsburgh Penguins on June 29, 2019, has 38 points (14 goals, 24 assists) in 70 games after scoring 82 points (27 goals, 55 assists) in 82 games last season.

Breakout player

Conor Garland: In his second NHL season, the 24-year-old forward leads the Coyotes with 22 goals, including an Arizona-high five game-winners, and is third with 39 points (17 assists) in 68 games. Selected by Arizona in the fifth round (No. 123) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Garland last season had 18 points (13 goals, five assists) in 47 games with Arizona and 25 points (12 goals, 13 assist) in 21 games with Tucson of the American Hockey League.

Statement win

Coyotes 7, Tampa Bay Lightning 3, Feb. 22: The Lightning were the hottest team in the NHL, having won 11 of their previous 12 games, and the Coyotes broke out with a season-high seven goals at Gila River Arena. Garland had four points (two goals, two assists), and Keller had three (two goals, one assist).

Most compelling game

Coyotes 3, Sharks 2, Dec. 17: With all eyes on Hall after the trade the previous day, the forward got his first point with the Coyotes by setting up defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson's goal that broke a 2-2 tie with 2:37 remaining at SAP Center.
