My son had not seen "Sully" before and we watched it this week and I realised that the A320 was real in the shots.
I went on a "Google" and found Clint Eastwood in an interview saying they got 2 old A320's,using one in Universal Studio's artificial lake ("Falls Lake")in S California.
I presume the aircraft came from the Cactus-Wings catchment area does anyone know which ones were used ?
Coming from the UK I live 15 miles North of the location where the "Miracle on the Hudson" TV film used a watertank with a B737 painted in US Airways on one side(not as well done, aircraft used G-PJPJ B735-5H6 https://www.airliners.net/photo/US-Airways/Boeing-737-5H6/2350488
