The Arizona Coyotes have re-signed defenceman Ilya Lyubushkin to a one-year contract.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed per team policy.

Lyubushkin has recorded one goal and two points with six penalty minutes in 31 games so far this season. The 27-year-old leads Arizona defencemen with 77 hits and has blocked 51 shots in 2021.

The Russian defenceman has posted one goal, 10 points and 37 penalty minutes in 123 NHL career games. Lyubushkin signed with Arizona as a free agent on May 23, 2018.
