PHX (1/24/2023)
—————-——-—————-
This was my first visit to the Valley of the Sun in a year and my first to T4 in the better part of a decade.  Even in the darkness, the Sky Train ride to the rental car center was clearly a gamechanger for spotters.

American Eagle     CR9  N244LR   #CYD
British Airways    35X           #WBM

GYR (1/25/2023)
—————-——-—————-
I arrived at sunrise so as to get ahead of work obligations and did a complete but hurried circuit of the field.  Things continue with the trend seen last year - warehouses are going up that are making my typical viewing spots harder (if not impossible) to use.  The airport was as busy as ever though.  A complete log follows:

Scrap Pad & Hangars
Aer Lingus          752  N726WN  in teardown
Aer Lingus          752          #BR, in teardown
AerSale             73G  N301AS
Asiana              321  HL7703  in teardown
Chex                320  LYBLD
Condor              763          #UM, "Achim"
Citilink Indonesia  320  PKGLA   in teardown
Modern Logistics    73F  PPYBA
National            752  N176CA  in teardown

Rouge               321  CGYFM
United              73H          #0214

…plus a number of aircraft hidden in the hangar, tantalizingly out of view of the general public.

Field
Air Astana          757  N489BR
Air Busan           321  N636WT
Caribbean           73H  N2823
Caribbean           73H  N2833
Corsair             743  FGSKY
euroAtlantic        763  N127DP
Hop!                E70  N280GE
Hop!                E70  FHRXK
Interjet            320  N508MQ
Interjet            32Q  N823CG
Nordwind            321  VQBRL
Royal Flight        763  VPBLC
Royal Flight        763  VPBLG
Sky                 319  CCAMP
Southwest           73G  N554WN
Spicejet            73H  VPCKP

                    319  N4868U  ex-Shaheen
                    319  N4869U  ex-Shaheen
                    319  N5867U  ex-Shaheen
                    319  N870UB  ex-Germania
                    320  N158AE

…plus many many many more.

Terminal
                 CRJ  N500PR
                 ERJ  N25VA
                 ERJ  N47VA
                 ERJ  N509RH

…and this was in a week with (I think) no NASCAR race at nearby PIR.

I never got to do a second, more deliberate circuit later in the day so I had to live with what I got.  Overall it was a great haul but fair warning that this airport is going to get harder for spotters.

---------------
I was able to take the amazing new Sky Train, only to T3.  It provides excellent views landside, much as its analogue at IAH does airside.  I never made it over to the FBO and cargo areas nor did I look at the Mesa hangar.  Notables are below.

Air Canada             7M8  CGEQJ
Denver Air Connection  FRJ  N395DC
JSX                    ERJ  N254JX
Mesa                   CR9          no longer in AA c/s
Rouge                  321  CFJOU
US Air Force           76T  96062   parked near pax terminal with a KC-135, 90% sure of reg
WestJet                73H  CGVWA
                       CR9  N944LR  no titles

…plus an American 777 and more JSX Embraers.
