The Arizona Coyotes have traded winger Jason Zucker to the Nashville Predators, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported Friday.
The Daily Faceoff's Frank Seravalli reported that coming back the Coyotes way is a 2024 sixth-round pick that the Predators acquired from the Dallas Stars. Arizona is not retaining any of Zucker's salary.
The 32-year-old Zucker signed a one-year, $5.3-million deal with the Coyotes prior to this season. He has nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points in 51 games.
Zucker, previously with the Pittsburgh Penguins, was coming off his most productive season since 2017-18 as he had 27 goals and 21 assists in 78 games last year.
The Minnesota Wild selected the American in the second round (59th overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.
Zucker has 191 goals and 172 assists for 363 career points in 679 games with the Wild, Penguins and Coyotes.
The Predators have won nine of their last 10 games and are sitting in one of the two Western Conference wild-card spots.
