The Utah have signed unrestricted free agent defenceman Andrew Peeke to a one-year, $1 million contract.
Peeke, 28, had five goals and 14 points in 77 games with the Boston Bruins last season while averaging 19:23 of ice time. He added an assist in six playoff games while averaging 19:46 of ice time before the Bruins fell in the first round.
The 6-foot-3, right-shot defenceman is coming off a three-year, $8.25 million contract that carried a cap hit of $2.75 million.
Drafted 34th overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2016, Peeke has 16 goals and 75 points in 386 career games split between the Blue Jackets and Bruins.
The Parkland, Fla., native has represented the United States twice at the World Hockey Championship, taking home a gold medal in 2025.
