Some new images from Maxton Laurinburg. The US Govt. is spending a small fortune upgrading this airfield , replaced the main runway which is 6500' X 100' asphalt w/ a 6500' X 300' ramp , plus a several DoD companies have taken over the south and the north eastern sides of the airfield , one company called " The Gryphon Group "
Plus this place is used as a drop zone for the US Army Golden Nights and the 82nd Airborne from near bye Fort Bragg.

KMEB is also getting new drainage and many new improvements.

Does anyone have knowledge of the owners of Charlotte Aircraft  which I'm guessing owns the planes , if they allow the public on their ramps to photograph and do they have any other locations that they scrap aircraft ?
