{coyotes} Coyotes re-sign Schlemko

The Phoenix Coyotes have re-signed defenseman David Schlemko to a two-year, $2.375 million deal, ProHockeyTalk.com reported.

Schlemko, 25, has two assists in nine games for the Coyotes this season, averaging 16 minutes of ice time.

He was set to become a restricted free agent at season's end.

Schlemko is currently on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
