Thanks to those club members who participated in the search

It is estimated that as many as 70 people came out to form up and search for thirteen year old Jophrey of Mesa AZ.  The Mesa ARC successfully provided communications and net control for this rapidly assembled and mostly untrained search team of amateur volunteers.

Members of the Superstition Search and Rescue participated in the search and will follow up on leads discovered.  The Mesa ARC remains on call for communications if necessary.

Although we meet and work in the field several times a year, in the event that we are needed, this is the first time the Club has been activated for an emergency and I am very proud of our members for the professionalism they exhibited both in the field and on the air.
