Jared McCann scored the only goal of the game on a power play 8:34 into the third period and Jacob Markstrom made 32 saves in the Vancouver Canucks' win against the Arizona Coyotes at Rogers Arena.
Seventeen seconds after Coyotes center Kyle Chipchura was whistled for cross-checking, McCann took a pass from Ben Hutton and ripped a wrist shot from the left circle past goalie Mike Smith.
Markstrom made 15 saves in the second period to keep the game scoreless.
Smith made 23 saves for the Coyotes.
