[cactuswings 3770] LOGette - SE Michigan (March 2017)

YIP (3/15/2017)
I returned to an airport that I hadn't visited in almost 20 years and that wasn't quite as familiar as I'd assumed that it would be.  There were lots of police with flashing lights along with ordinary folks milling about with Bernie paraphernalia which seemed odd until I Binged "trump michigan"!  Despite the other visitor inbound to YIP, I got to see most of this amazing little slice of history, including the still-broken fence and torn-up berm where the MD-80 accident occurred a week earlier.  A full log follows...

PTK (3/15/17)
The Ides of March also afforded an opportunity to do a quick driveby of Oakland County International Airport.  The weather was frigid but the spotting was excellent...another full log follows.
