The Arizona Coyotes have signed left wing Zach Sanford to a one-year, two-way deal, the team announced Friday.
The contract carries of a cap hit of $800,000 in the NHL and $150,000 in the AHL, per PuckPedia.
Sanford is a veteran of 305 NHL games, spread across stints in Washington, where he was drafted in the second round (61st overall) in 2013, St. Louis, Ottawa, Winnipeg, and Nashville.
The six-foot-four, 206-pound native of Salem, Mass., played 16 games for Nashville last season, recording two goals and an assist.
The 28-year-old also registered 28 points in 45 games for Nashville's AHL affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals.
