TORONTO -- Negotiations toward a new Collective Bargaining Agreement resumed Tuesday morning at the office of the National Hockey League Players' Association.
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly, NHLPA Executive Director Donald Fehr and Special Counsel Steve Fehr are all present at the meeting that began shortly after 11 a.m. ET.
The sides previously met last Thursday in New York to discuss topics not related to the fundamental economic and system issues dividing the two sides -- including drug testing and various CBA legal issues. Donald Fehr was not at the League office for that meeting.
The NHL locked out the players on Sept. 16 due to the lack of an existing CBA. The regular-season schedule through Oct. 24 has been cancelled and Daly has estimated the shared revenue loss so far between the League and the NHLPA is approximately $250 million.
