There were two 727s noted on the field today, one from FedEx and another with an unfamiliar charter-like color scheme with a mostly blue tail (not the Coyotes' airplane).  Mostly, it was just cool to see two of these glorious old ladies still in service.

The other 727 would have been N17773. It brought the Chicago Bulls basketball team.

It was a nondescript day at Sea-Tac other than my first booking of a Dreamliner in revenue service.

On arrival at Phoenix there wasn't much of interest other than the Honeywell 757 still parked at Cutter Aviation and the forward fuselage of a 727/737 on the north side of the field.  Mesa's hangar had no airplanes though the doors were open.

I took a dawn drive around Mesa's Gateway Airport to see if anything had changed since my August visit.  The answer was…not much though it was nice to catch the Intel shuttle.  A full log follows.
