United 319 N808UA #4008, CO c/s
AZA (4/23/2013)
I was too late to catch the Intel ERJs (their departure times must shift earlier with the time change) but there were still some interesting birds at Gateway Airport. I had never seen Allegiant A319s before - they looked nice but at 156 seats I wouldn't want to fly on one! There were no Frontier or Spirit airplanes. A full log follows.
Allegiant 319 N301NV my first!
Allegiant 319 N302NV
Allegiant M80 N422NV

…plus a C-130, the A-4 squadron, and the other non-commercial oddities/tidbits that are typical at AZA.
GYR (4/23/2013)
There's almost always something of interest at Goodyear although, unlike last time, this time there wasn't a NASCAR race to contribute interesting "commercial biz" movements. Below are the airplanes that I logged or just noted; more went by the wayside due to difficult angles, heat haze, and missing registrations. There were a few more hangared aircraft that remained out of view. No tie-ups required.

SCF (4/24/2013)
I did a drive-by at Scottsdale's airport. There's an amazing viewing area and lots of light aircraft plus business jets…but on this Wednesday afternoon there was nothing that was commercial grade. I left empty-handed.
DVT (4/24/2013)
Given my luck at Scottsdale, I went for a quick drive over to Deer Valley to see whether I could make amends. There is still the large floatplane visible from Deer Valley Road and there was one more surprise as well! Like the Finnair E170 seen last year, this one was not a hit for me.
California Pacific E70 N760CP at Honeywell, engines covered
GR? N7025J as seen last year
PHX (4/25/2013)

There were no surprises really but it's nice to see that the spirit of the cookie still lives. The Honeywell 757 was also active during the week including today.

EVA Air 744 B16410
