Hi Chris.
I agree with you 1 thousand per cent !!!!
It is great to know there are still proper spotters out there.
Keep up the proper way of spotting.
Cheers.

re: the above, several points:
Nigel Prevett (Assistant Editor of Aviation letter) and I spent around $250 getting to Apple Valley Airport, and renting a Cessna to fly over VCV to do it properly. Our images took several days to fully interpret with IDs, schemes, etc. Most of these data were published in AL. But my point here goes further that that, ANY list is really only good for the day it was done, and even then a/c leave and arrive at VCV frequently. So even if you get a recent list, you will REALLY never know EXACTLY what you have seen. This a bit like fr24, it is an excellent tool, except sometimes it is wrong or incomplete.
Then things get reported that are not accurate which can lead to them becoming part of pseudo-permanent data bases. There is really no substitute for a note book, a pen, and a pair of binoculars, combined with an image where one can read the registration.
I, intended, in no way, to be insulting (or vitriolic) to you personally, but some of these new modern methods lead to errors, and the rest of us, some like me, having been spotting for 50 years, suffer.
Thank you for your kind attention in this matter.
