{coyotes} Coyotes’ Dylan Strome sent back to junior

The Arizona Coyotes will be sending Dylan Strome back to the Ontario Hockey League.

Strome has played in just seven games for the Coyotes, recording one assist, which came in his debut.

"Dylan has made exceptional progress and continues to make strides to being an elite centre in this league," said Coyotes general manager John Chayka in a press release. "At this point in time we felt it was best for his development to get him back playing in junior, but his future in the NHL is very bright."

The 19-year-old is eligible to play for Canada's world junior team at this winter's tournament.

He'll return to the OHL's Erie Otters where he scored 111 points (37 goals, 74 assists) in 56 games last season.
