GLENDALE, Ariz. - The Phoenix Coyotes assigned forward Andy Miele to the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League on Thursday.

Miele had two assists and five penalty minutes in four games with the Coyotes this season. He has five goals and three assists in six games for Portland.
