Drove round Ontario last Friday, 3 times at 1900, 2300 and 0800 and encountered no problems whats so ever, visited UPS ramp and all FBOs, never got to the FedEX C208 ramp as a *loody great long train decided to stop at a signal and block the roads for ages.

Good evening.
I am a British spotter and a retired Police Officer and visit Ontario on
average 3/4 times per year. I was there last week and the week previous.
I know of no where in the world where the Police are as keen to 'chase'
spotters as this airport
As Nanne quite rightly states, stop 2 minutes or so and you are checked. I
have tried talking to the Police in Police jargon, but it has NO effect.
I always stop at the crash gate in Haven Avenue, if there is no Police car
there, have a quick look (about a minute or so) at the UPS ramp, then go,
having not got out of the car. I then normally check the Executive terminal
from the car and then continue on my journey.
There is an industrial estate on Haven Avenue off the other carriageway from
where the crash gate is located (Going away from Interstates 10 and 15) and
aircraft can be read off from here if landing in the right direction, but
again expect to be checked and moved.
My advice is, drive around the perimeter of the airport, if there is no
Police cars about, but this is quite often not the case, get what
registrations you can and go. DO NOT HANG AROUND UNLESS YOU WANT TROUBLE.
I do not know why the Police always act in this manner at Ontario, but what
I do know is that there is a large Police Dog Training facility within the
grounds.

Hi
Sorry dont know the answer to your question.
BUT HOWEVER every visit i made to Ontario ended up in POLICE questioning.
More than any other airport in the USA Ontario has a very high active
landside control.
Anywhere you stop and park expect a police car within 2 minute.
A spotter from Holland, where spotters normally risk more than UK-spotters.
Success.
