Ok this is getting annoying. We need to find something other than
Google groups since every time I send something I get an email back
saying that sending an email to WM7RC@googlegroups.com
<mailto:WM7RC@googlegroups.com> doesn't work, and almost every single
time I go and try to log into the group it tells me it doesn't exist.

Hello orion.thrower@gmail.com <mailto:orion.thrower@gmail.com>,

We're writing to let you know that the group you tried to contact
(wm7rc) may not exist, or you may not have permission to post messages
to the group. A few more details on why you weren't able to post:

* You might have spelled or formatted the group name incorrectly.
* The owner of the group may have removed this group.
* You may need to join the group before receiving permission to post.
* This group may not be open to posting.

If you have questions related to this or any other Google Group, visit
the Help Center at http://groups.google.com/support/?hl=en_US.

Thanks,

Google Groups

For those who missed the meeting on Wednesday, sorry to have missed you.
We had a great turn out including some guests that are interested in
getting into Ham Radio.

Don't forget to mark your calendars. Our meetings have moved by the
request of the membership, to Wednesdays to accommodate those who are busy
on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

So here is a list of the months that we have meetings in:

January January 23rd
March March 27th
April April 24th
May May 22nd
July July 24th
August Aug 28th
September Sep 25th
November and December are combined due to conflicts with holidays and the
fact that most members will be enjoying time with family and friends.

The reason we don't meet every month is because our group goes camping 3
times a year. February, June, and October. When Vinnie, Jacques and I
started the club we wanted the club to be active on the radio and felt that
the best way to be active is to get on the radio as well as encourage
others to get on the radio. After all, we are a Ham Radio club. We felt
that there are too many other clubs that have meetings to talk about being
on the radio but never really take the next step. Yes, most clubs
participate in Field Day every year, but that's two days out of the year
they get together and are on the air as a club. Why even bother having a
club call sign if you are not going to use it?

So for those months that we camp, we felt it was too much club time by
having meetings during those months. If you have feedback on this or would
like this to be changed, then please let us know and we will see what
others think.

*Upcoming events:*

Lost Dutchman event at the Superstition Museum in Apache Junction.
February 23rd, starting at 7:00AM. Vinnie will need assistance in setting
up antennas and radios. I am going to try and make it but can't guarantee
that since I am volunteering at an event on Friday night. Please,
