Here is where the Superstition ARC went last year. I want to make sure
that we don't accidentally go to their spot. When you mentioned right
of FR 300, I thought that sounded familiar.
Here is the directions to their spot from last year. I want to make
sure the suggested site of Kehl Springs, off FR 300 this is not the spot
included in the directions below that is used by the other club.
According to their website, their spot is located:
"On State Route 87, from Bush Highway, it is just over 81 miles, with 30
miles to go at the north end of Payson. Just about 2.5 miles past Zane
Grey Highway (260) which goes off left, we arrive at milepost 281, and
just after it is the FR 300 off to the right. We are in the pine
forests at 7000 feet." (Superstition ARC, 2012)
