[cactuswings 3193] LOG : Quartzsite - 3rd February 2015

All,

We called in at Quartzsite on the way back to California where there are quite a few sites that need investigating.

The first port of call when traveling back to California is the Freedom Garden Park on Plymouth Road.

Back down Plymouth Road to Main Street and a right hand turn takes you through the town. At the junction for the freeway go straight on and enter a dirt track. Once you get to the dirt track you will see two aircraft on the right hand side

Back in the car and carry on in the same direction and across a dirt makeshift runway and you will see a walled scrap compound. Here you will find the following :

Now you need to drive along the scrap compound and along the side of the runway. This leads you up to two small hangars which some light aircraft parts and just past the hangars you will see some caravans/trailers where the following are located :

The last area is on the other side of the freeway so you need to travel back to the junction and drive over the freeway and turn right and at the auto dealer you will find the following :
