Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Mike Babcock made news this week when he suggested that the NHL adopt larger nets to increase scoring around the league.
Meanwhile, as Elliotte Friedman noted in Saturday's Headlines segment, Philadelphia Flyers owner Ed Snider said recently that if the NHLPA does not agree to smaller goalie pads that the NHL will be forced to adopt larger nets to compensate.
A new question that Friedman brought up was whether goalies should wear the same jerseys as players. He said it's being considered and that goalie equipment would have to fit under a more streamlined jersey.
