National Parks On The Air Poll now active

We have added a new feature to our website.  A place to cast a vote for a topic.  We will add a new topic every now and then, so keep your eye open for an announcement.

Current poll is in regards the National Park on the Air campaign the ARRL created.  Several members of our club have expressed interest in participating.

So I went through and looked at all the National Parks and National Monuments here in Arizona and posted a few that I think would be interesting to venture out and activate.

You are allowed to vote for 3 of the ones I posted.  If there is one missing that you would like me to add to the poll, please notify me ASAP.  I will then update the poll and reset the votes.

This doesn't mean we will be visiting all three of your choices, but who knows.

We would like to try and do two parks if possible.  There are two that are easy to get to, and chances are, they will be popular, both on air and activation.  There are a few on here I don't really think many will be activating which would give our club some attention on the air if we decide to go there.

The Vote is set to expire at the end of February, but honestly, we might pull it down at the beginning of January and start making plans.

This is a great opportunity for us as a club, to get on the air, stir up the radio waves, and do something that other clubs in the area might not do.
