RE: [cactuswings 3594] LOG: Marana Pinal Air Park 16th April 2016

N515HC ex B-2131 is parked off the field. Believe the aircraft is used for some sort of training. Attached is a photo taken on 26th October, 2015. It still has "31" painted on the nose wheel door. This is parked on the right about ½ mile from the entrance to Silver Bell Army Heliport. Also noted N513HC on the 25th October and I believe this was on the field, but can't remember where.

Hi Peter,

Yes the mystery has be solved with the picture below.  Along with that goes the deletion to any reference I made to an ALLEGRO B.727, as it was obviously not one of those. ( I had wrongly assumed that the RO AIR I could see referred to that and failed to see that it could and was pRO AIR !!  With no nose or tail unit I fell into a trap!

Cheers,

John.

Correct, N515HC is just off the field. In fact you can drive right up to it nowadays!

There should also be two ex Pro Air MD90 fuselages around somewhere too, P4-MDF & MDG noted Oct 2013 missing wings and tail, any sign?

Cheers

There was a China Eastern DC-9-82 lying towards the S.E end of the field and is clearly N513HC. There was another one, parked whole, off the airfield completely  on its own, in amongst some scrub, so presumably this must be N515HC, as there are 2 reported present.
