The Arizona Coyotes claimed forward Josh Jooris off waivers Sunday.
Jooris, 26, was placed on waivers by the New York Rangers on Saturday. He had one goal and one assist in 12 games this season.
The Rangers signed Jooris to a one-year contract July 15 after he spent the past two seasons with the Calgary Flames. Jooris has 17 goals and 39 points in 131 NHL games.
The move comes one day after Arizona forward Max Domi was placed on injured reserve, and announced he is considered week to week because of an upper-body injury.
