Phoenix Coyotes have traded forward Matthew Lombardi to the Anaheim Ducks for Brandon McMillan.
Lombardi has scored four goals and four assists in 21 games with the Coyotes this season. He was acquired from the Toronto Maple Leafs earlier this season in exchange for a conditional fourth-round draft pick.
He is in the final year of a three-year deal he signed prior to the 2010-11 season worth an average annual value of $3.5 million, although the Maple Leafs retained a portion of his salary as part of their trade with the Coyotes.
In 529 career NHL games with the Coyotes, Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames and Nashville Predators, Lombardi has scored 101 goals and 161 assists.
The 23-year-old McMillan was a third-round selection (85th overall) by the Ducks in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. He has registered one assists in six games with the Ducks this season.
