We're driving down from LA on the Thursday!
You'll need to visit Deer Valley,Glendale,Goodyear,Sky Harbor and Scottsdale. These were the busy airports used for the BCS game I attended a couple of years ago. There was hardly anything at Mesa Gateway and nothing at Chandler although the Super Bowl will be busier than the BCS so those may also need visiting. I didn't check out Falcon Field so that may be another place used although this place is well worth a visit anyway!
I had no problems when the BCS game was in town so I shouldn't think this will be any different. Phoenix area is usually hassle free!
Glendale is the closest airport to the stadium and it has a nice little observation deck and you can walk the whole fence line and easily identify everything. Deer Valley also has an observation deck and everything will be easily identified once parked.
