Whilst I cannot answer your reg / serial number query Barry, I started looking on Google Earth to find where this place that you refer to, may be.
Quartzite AZ on 'West Main Event Lane' just north of west bound exit of J 17 on the I –10 there is what seems to be remains of a dirt strip with a very extensive area of scrapped cars boats and lots of RV s and a few planes thrown in.
Whilst I don't' know if is this place that you saw the Learjet and US Army Beech that you refer to, at this quite large scrapping area is a what I would guess is an ex US Navy Banshee or a Panther and a Baron right close by and further north up the 'runway' is possibly 2 x Beech 18's remains and a couple of other airframes scattered elsewhere, sadly of which I cannot identify their types from a satellite photo image.
So again maybe somebody can know the IDs of these as well please.
So super sleuths anybody able to help, Paul
