CANADIENS (27-25-4) at COYOTES (25-24-6)

TV: 9 p.m. ET; FS-A, RDS, SNE, NHL.TV

Season Series: The Arizona Coyotes defeated the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 at Bell Centre on Nov. 19. Goals from Martin Hanzal, captain Shane Doan and defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson gave the Coyotes an early lead. Captain Max Pacioretty and forward Dale Weise scored for Montreal.

Canadiens team scope: Goalie Mike Condon will start. "The goalie who wins is the one who plays," coach Michel Therrien told the Canadiens website. "We want to avoid playing musical chairs." Condon relieved Ben Scrivens in a 6-4 loss against the Buffalo Sabres on Friday after Scrivens allowed three goals on eight shots. Defenseman Nathan Beaulieau (lower body) practiced Sunday after missing the game in Buffalo, but his availability will be determined after the morning skate Monday. He was paired alongside Tom Gilbert in practice. After he scored twice in Buffalo, rookie Sven Andrighetto continued to skate on the right side of center David Desharnais and Pacioretty. "We want to put him in a position where he can show what he can do offensively," Therrien said. "We put him with two good offensive guys and it went well, but he's a guy who needs to produce."

Coyotes team scope: Arizona didn't practice Sunday after a 4-1 loss at the San Jose Sharks on Saturday. Forward Jordan Martinook sustained a lower-body injury when he blocked a shot by Sharks forward Logan Couture with 7:41 left in the third period. Martinook gingerly skated off the ice and remained on the bench the rest of the game. Goalie Louis Domingue started back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday. Arizona ended its five-game losing streak with a 4-1 win against the Calgary Flames on Friday. Domingue had 24 saves the next day against San Jose. "He met the challenge," coach Dave Tippett told the Coyotes website. "It's too bad we couldn't get the goal support for him." Domingue has started 10 of the past 11 games. "I'm feeling good and feeling like things are going my way," Domingue told the Coyotes website. "I've just got to keep working hard and keep trying to give our team a chance to win."
