The Nashville Predators bolstered their AHL roster Monday, trading for defenceman Corey Potter from the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for future considerations.
Potter has spent this season with the Springfield Falcons of the AHL, posting five goals and 12 assists in 52 games.
He has eight goals and 24 assists in 129 NHL games, and is a career minus-11. The 32-year-old will report to the Milwaukee Admirals, Nashville's AHL affiliate.
Originally drafted by the New York Rangers in the fourth round, 122nd overall, in the 2003 NHL Draft, Potter has also spent time with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers, Boston Bruins and Calgary Flames organizations.
