A quick drive around Mesa’s main airport revealed, since my last visit a few months ago, a few changes. There’s a lot of construction including an expanded terminal and a few hangars going up. The Mesa Airlines training facility (and mystery all-white CRJ used for cabin training) are gone. Also, I didn’t see any of the firefighting aircraft that I was hoping to see based here. Still, this is an airport worthy of a visit once in a while - a full log follows.
