Arizona Coyotes rookie goaltender Louis Domingue will make his second straight start Tuesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Jobing.com Arena.

Domingue will look to pick up where he left off Saturday at home against the New York Islanders when he made 25 saves for his first shutout in a 1-0 victory. Domingue (23 years, 9 months) became the youngest Coyotes goalie to post a shutout since Robert Esche (23 years, 1 month) against the Carolina Hurricanes on Feb. 16, 2001.

"Right now we're in the position, 'You win, you're in.' That's the mindset we've got right now [with the goalie situation]," Coyotes coach Dave Tippett said. "[Domingue] won. He's in. You need the key saves and that's what Louie was able to bring [Saturday]."

Domingue and Anders Lindback have been splitting duties with Mike Smith expected to miss 8-10 weeks after having abdominal surgery Dec. 22.

Arizona is 9-1-1 in the past 11 games against the Maple Leafs, including three straight wins, dating to 2005-06.

Coyotes center Martin Hanzal (lower body), who has five goals and 11 points in nine games against Toronto, will not play.

"He's just not feeling well enough to play right now," Tippett said of Hanzal.

Coyotes defenseman Zbynek Michalek practiced Monday but will miss his fourth straight game because of a lower-body injury.

The Maple Leafs are 10-5-5 in their past 20 games after starting the season 2-8-2. They beat the Colorado Avalanche 7-4 on Monday but are 0-5-2 in the second game of back-to-backs this season.

Center Tyler Bozak scored three goals against the Avalanche for his first multigoal game of the season. He has four goals and eight points in the past six games.
