I won't make it to the meeting thurs. But Liz and I spent a night at the Rock Crossing camping area at the blue ridge reservoir. We talked to the volunteer camp host and found out that Rock Crossing does not take reservations so its first come first served.  Looking at all of the sites I think that space #18 would meet our needs it is 16 dollars a night and has room to park 4 cars and has 2 picnic tables with a toilet next to it.  So Liz and I will attempt to go up early on that Friday before field day and see if we can snag that site .  If it is taken we will grab two single sites near each other.  I have a tent I will set up to hold the other site. We checked out the lake and it is really nice perfect for canoeing or fishing really long and narrow but easy to launch a boat as the road goes right down to the end of the lake.
