{coyotes} Archibald suspended two games for actions in Coyotes game

 

NEW YORK -- Arizona Coyotes forward Josh Archibald has been suspended for two games, without pay, for an illegal check to the head of Nashville Predators forward Ryan Hartman during NHL Game No. 284 in Arizona on Thursday, Nov. 15, the National Hockey League Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 18:19 of the second period. Archibald was assessed a minor penalty for illegal check to the head.

Under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Archibald will forfeit $7,258.06. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
