EA Sports' NHL14 video game hit retail stores throughout North America on Tuesday.
The 20th anniversary of the iconic video game features the latest in sports-gaming technology, including True Performance Skating, with improved acceleration, explosive first strides and quicker pivots; one-touch dekes; the new Live the Life mode, which is the evolution of the Be a Pro career mode, with every decision on or off the ice shaping your legacy as a hockey player; NHL collision physics, which introduces bigger and truer-to-life collisions; and the HUT (Hockey Ultimate Team) an d EASHL online seasons.
Also special for this edition of the game is the inclusion of NHL 94 Anniversary Mode, allowing fans to celebrate the original version of the game with a retro presentation of blue ice, classic star-shaped player indicators, organ music and more.
