Bruins team scope

The Boston Bruins have beaten the Arizona Coyotes eight straight times, dating back to 2010 when the teams opened the season with two games in Prague, Czech Republic. The Bruins are 5-2-0 in their past seven games this season. Five different players scored in a 5-2 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday. Goalie Tuukka Rask is 8-1-0 with a 1.76 goals-against average, but Zane McIntyre will start Saturday with back-to-back games to begin their their three-game road trip. McIntyre is 0-2-0 with a 4.03 GAA in two starts. Forward Brad Marchand has 15 points (five goals, 10 assists) in 14 games, and forward David Pastrnak has a team-leading 10 goals. The Bruins have taken 154 shots in the past four games, an average of 38.5.

Coyotes team scope

The Coyotes will have defenseman Michael Stone back in the lineup for the first time since Oct. 27. Stone, who spent all summer rehabbing a knee injury, has missed six games with an upper-body injury. Captain Shane Doan scored the Coyotes first goal of the season on Oct. 15 against the Philadelphia Flyers, but hasn't scored since. He remains three goals shy of 400 in his NHL career. Doan, 40, earned his 552nd career assist in a 3-2 loss against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday, and his first point in eight games left him one behind Thomas Steen's franchise record. "I'm more frustrated with myself than I am with the team," Doan said. "We've lost four games by a goal and I haven't really done much. I've been terrible." Center Martin Hanzal (upper body) will miss a fifth straight game but returned to the ice for the first time Friday.
