SENATORS (16-16-8) at COYOTES (16-20-4)

TV: CITY, FS-A

Season series: Each team won 4-3 in overtime last season in its opponent's building. Antoine Vermette scored at 2:23 of overtime to lead the Arizona Coyotes past his former team, the Ottawa Senators, in the most recent game, Dec. 21, 2013.

Senators team scope: Forward Mark Stone, who scored his 10th goal of the season Thursday in a 5-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche, is looking forward to facing his brother, Arizona defenseman Michael Stone. "In junior, a ton," Mark said in video posted by the Senators about facing Michael in the past. "We played two playoff series against each other. We played in the Memorial Cup against each other. … I'm sure he'll be amped up and try not to let me score, especially if he's matched up against me. It'll probably be one of his things, to try and shut me down." Forward Bobby Ryan had the Senators' other goal against the Avalanche and has five goals in as many games against them. Veteran forward Todd Bertuzzi agreed to a professional tryout Friday with the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.

Coyotes team scope: Defenseman Zbynek Michalek sustained an upper-body injury that kept him out of a 4-1 win against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday and could prevent him from going against Ottawa forward Milan Michalek in another brother vs. brother matchup. Forward Martin Hanzal has missed the past two games with an upper-body injury but is a possibility to return Saturday. The Coyotes have three games left on a six-game homestand. So far they've sandwiched three-goal wins against the Columbus Blue Jackets and Jets around a 6-0 loss to the St. Louis Blues. They've won five of their past seven overall. Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored his 11th goal of the season against the Jets to tie for the NHL lead among defensemen. He has eight goals in his past 16 games.
