TRS picked up a 738?
 
Also, interesting that a couple of TRS 717s have escaped the clutches of
DAL (or are headed to KGYR for more serious work than can be done at
Cecil Field).
 
Last but not least, wonder who is picking up the FDX A306?

Good question on the A306. Skyliner suggested it was getting returned to
service, however I've also recently seen photos of an US B762 getting
broken up at BFM as well...

It would have to be something other than TRS as AirTran has never had a B738.

I've been watching that for a while now and am of the opinion that
they're going there for storage until the folks in Jacksonville can
make room for them. There's been a constant flow of them in and out
of there as they go through the Airtran-to-Delta conversion, but they
usually don't have more than 2-3 of them there at a time. If
Southwest is done with them but there isn't room for them at Cecil
right now, I assume that they're parking them at GYR to get them
off-property at ATL and are waiting to ferry them to Cecil. Either
that, or I suppose these could all be due for a heavy check and the
folks at GYR were the lowest bidder?

Last I heard, all 88 TRS 717s are going to Delta.
Perhaps very short-term storage as they wait in line to be Delta-ized.

More like Southwest wants them gone yesterday. If Citrus were still
functional they would probably be trying their best to find some more
712s. It does seem rather strange that they went all the way to KGYR
passing several suitable temp storage locations.

I was speaking of the 717s off their property, but of course the 737s
.... get them out-a-here!
 
GYR probably has the best deal for short-term storage.
 
As TRS's days dwindle, at 0312Z....2212EST now, there are only 6
airborne AirTran flights.
